You can now pre-order your Galaxy Nexus today with Three. The new Galaxy Nexus brings together Google’s Android software along with Samsung’s hardware.

This is good news for Android fans, as the new Galaxy Nexus mobile phone is going to be the first mobile phone with the latest Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) within the UK.
With the Galaxy Nexus you get the latest innovations in Androids software, which has many cool features. One of which is the ability to unlock your phone by using facial recognition.

The Galaxy Nexus comes with a 4.65 inch true HD resolution screen, which uses Samsung’s new HD Super AMOLED technology. This is truly appreciated when you use it to watch videos and view pictures. To put it simply, HD Super AMOLED technology is having the ability to view your screen clearly even when it is really bright outside. Within its slim line design, the Galaxy Nexus has been able to integrate two cameras, a front and rear one, making it even easier for you to take DIY pictures.

The Galaxy Nexus has a 1.2Ghz dual core processor, making this phone super fast and work more power efficiently.  The Galaxy Nexus also supports HSPA+ and RX Diversity. For you this means that using the internet will be even faster, but this will really come into action when Three completes its HSPA+ network upgrade at the end of the year.

The head of handsets at Three, Sylvia Chind said, “At Three we love firsts, so we’re excited to be bringing our customers the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich phone. It’s also great to add another HSPA+ enabled device to our range, which will see the Galaxy Nexus’ features be brought to life with Three’s award-winning HSPA+ enabled network.”

If you like the Galaxy Nexus you can have it for just £34 a month or you could get it on The One Plan, which costs £40 a month, but gives you 2,000 anytime any network minutes, 5,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data.

Some people don’t like being tied to contracts, so if you would like to be a PAYG customer, you could get the Galaxy Nexus for £499.99. With this you can add the All in One 15 for £15 a month. With this you can use it for a 30 day period, and you get 300 any network minutes, 3,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data. If you need more minutes then you could add the All in One 25 which costs £25 fora 30 days, and gives you 500 minutes, 3,000 texts and all-you-can-eat data.

Within a few weeks the Galaxy Nexus will be available in a Three store near you or online at Three.co.uk.
