What is T-Mobile’s Wireless Pointer?
T-Mobile has launched a mobile Wi-Fi device called the ‘wireless pointer’. It essentially the is the same as other mobile Wi-Fi services such as 3′s MiFi and Vodafone’s Mobile WiFi, but just branded as the ‘Pointer ‘ by T-Mobile. With T-Mobile’s wireless pointer, like many other mobile Wi-Fi devices, you can connect up to five Wi-Fi enabled devices to the wireless pointer at the same time.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Wireless Pointer
The advantage of having a mobile Wi-Fi product like T-Mobile’s Wireless Pointer is that you can take it with you wherever you go, and most the time will be able to connect to the internet. This is dependent on the networks coverage in those locations, so it is important if you are thinking of getting a mobile Wi-Fi device, to quickly check out the coverage.
Unlike the wireless internet you get at home, with the wireless pointer, there are no cables, hence why you can take it with you anywhere and browse the net. The T-Mobile wireless pointer has a battery life of up to five hours, so you can use it for this time period without having to charge it. Although I do suspect this battery life does depend on the number of people/ devices using the wireless pointer at the same time. This wireless pointer also comes with a microSD card slot.

Price Plans for the T-Mobile Wireless Pointer
There are a number of packages you can get with the wireless pointer. If you want a monthly contract, then for £10 a month, on a 24 month plan, with the cost of the wireless pointer being free. However if you don’t want to be tied in for so long, or want it to be more flexible, you can pay per day which is £2, or for the week would be £7, or £15 for 30 days. But with this the wireless pointer would cost you £59.99 plus £10 top up.
